About Mary Lou’s Letter to the Congregation:

I am grateful for Mary Lou’s letter to the Congregation in the 7/02 Courier.  For me, she possesses a clear perspective on what is the next right thing for the church to do; list the Property for sale.  It reminds me of our experience on the Residence Board; we did not decide to close the Residence, we saw that it was time to close.  Mary Lou, as a wise witness to the unfolding events, sees that it is time to list the property for sale.  Neither she nor anyone else can say exactly how the future should or will unfold, but we are in good hands in that regard.  We did ok with the Residence closing when none of us had a clue what might happen and little hope that things could work out so well.  We can proceed to list the Church property for sale and know that things will work out ok, for we are in good hands.
